Angelo and Jan’s Inn offers a memorable and unique Southern Illinois style living experience in scenic and historic Murphysboro, IL.
We've just celebrated our 43rd year in the Hospitality Industry, with 31 of those years here in Murphysboro. For those past 31 years, Jan and I have been proud to call Murphysboro and the Apple Tree Inn “home”. In 2007, with the sale of the Apple Tree Inn, we were able to purchase one of Murphysboro’s oldest and finest homes located at 724 Walnut Street. Built in the late 1800’s, the home had been in the same founding families, the Wahl’s and Daniels’, until 1995. The home is a perfect fit for our family and we hope that you will feel as comfortable here as we do, when you decide to visit us.
 We are both native southern Illinoisans, as Jan is from Murphysboro and I am from nearby DuQuoin. Both of us have obtained degrees from Southern Illinois University. Over the years I have been employed with Howard Johnson’s Motor Lodge & Restaurants and the Marriot Corporation.
Angelo and Jan’s Inn is available for overnight accommodations, as well as extended stays. Guests are welcome to call ahead to check on availability or can check us out at www.angeloandjansinn.com. With the help of Darryl Jones, owner of Splattered Ink, you can take a virtual reality tour to see what is in store when you visit.
